Ok so I was only going to post a few of my favorites, but I got a little carried away! I loved taking pictures of this little one! She is so good a posing, and of course very beautiful! Thanks Cilka for letting me practice!
One night we went to a carnival, but it was cold and rainy and therefore didn't want my little ones hands to freeze. So I made her mittens. All I did was trace her hands, traced it onto the fabric giving an extra 1/2 inch or so, and leaving lots or room for their hands to enter the glove. Sewed wrong sides together, turn inside out and there they are! You can add ribbon with velcro to help keep them on if you like as well.

These are the many skirts I made for my little gal . They are so fun and so easy! All I did was buy half a yard of fabric, cut 2 17 inch fabric pieces, sewed wrong sides together, added a hem on both sides, left the top hem open, then weaved elastic through.

I had my eye on this lamp post for some time. This was the final touch in miss Mo's room. And what a fine touch it is might I add. The lamp post cost me $10 at walmart. Bought a neutral lamp shade for $3, then used my scraps from her bedding and hot glued it to the lamp shade and wall-ah! New, and matchy lamp!
I sure love these little hat boxes. I use them for lots of things. This was one from our wedding that needed a place to stay in our house. In ever home there is place or two that holds junk. This was the place, so I decided to use this hat box to hide all the junk from our pockets, and oh how cute it is. Same with the trays. They are a cute little extra for decor, its just sits on top or our dresser, or dining table.
My hubby and I made this head board after we were married and it was surprisingly cheap and easy. We got two sheets of plywood and sandwiched 3 2x4's between them. I drew a pattern for the arch on the top and used a jigsaw to cut it. My awesome cousin helped me sew the cool seems in the leather, since at the time I didn't know a thing about sewing. Used batting behind it and stapled everything to the back! Its a great way to re-do your room. You can even recover your original head board.
I was struggling to find stuff to stick on our random shelves. These are more items from the wedding placed on the shelf. The letter blocks were purchased at the craft store, mod podged and same with everything else. I got little stickers with mushy love quotes and stuck them on as well. Good way to personalize your things :)
